Hidden in the Shadows

She was so excited. Her father, clan deputy, was out with their leader, Preystar, and she had tracked them all the way to the swap. She was to be apprenticed soon and wanted to show off her warrior skills. She hid behind a tree waiting for the right chance to show her presence.
“Is is this what you wanted to show me Greendeath. A dead toad!?! I have more important things to worry about during leafbear!” Greendeath just starred at Preystar, as if waiting for a chance to attack. “ I am sorry. I just thought you would want to know that this has Thunderclan sent on it,” Greendeath growled. “Why didn’t you just tell me that at camp!?!” Then without waiting for an answer Preystar put his head down to sniff the prey.
Then Greendeath got down into the hunter’s crouch, ready to pounce. She was about to call out, but thought better of it. Last time she did that she let an enemy warrior escape and got a nasty scar from her mom, Razortooth. But before he pounced his eyes started to glow an eerie green. Then four balls of flaming green fire appeared around him. Greendeath let out a battle yowl and pounced. Then his teeth met the soft neck of their leader, She did not stay to see what happened next. She knew what her father was doing.
