Things Some Girls Should Know

1. We love girls for who they are, not their looks or clothing or even status. Those that do like girls with any of the above three, then they aren't really in love. They're infatuated. There is a serious different between the two.

2. We love girls a whole lot more than you love us. Period. :)

3. We would do anything to impress you, which usually includes showing off our physical prowess, so don't be surprised when us guys talk about sports a lot around you. We're just trying to impress you! (I don't play sports, but I still try to show off how muscular and athletic I can be at times, ironically enough.)

4. We tend to worry a lot to, as a matter of fact. If you don't tell us why you're feeling a certain way, where you were, why you didn't text or call, things like that, we wonder and sometimes think of the worst case scenario as well. I know I do.

5. We tend to go out of our way to either impress you or compliment you, some other flattering thing. Don't shrug off a huge compliment or ignore a special gift even the slightest. If us guys see just a little hint of doubt or sadness or anything else that's not happy, we think the worst and feel upset about it. All we want to do is impress you, so when you don't look it, we don't feel like we accomplished anything. (If you have to, fake it! I know it seems cold-hearted, but the other guys don't have to know it. They'll just love you even more :)

6. When we're upset, we tend to get mad and lose our temper. I know I have. When this happens, don't immediately get mad at us. We can't help it. It's part of our nature or something like that.

7. When a guy needs to vent, he needs to vent. Even if you don't have much to say in return, just listen to him, hear him out, and offer any words of condolence that you can think of. If you don't say anything or don't reply, we think you don't care, and it hurts us more than you would imagine.

8. Guys can be shy, surprisingly, in some relationships. Like they want to say or do something, but they're too afraid to say or do it. If you suspect that something is on their mind, ask them what it is, and take anything they say with good grace, and maybe even give them a little something while you're at it to make them feel loved :)

9. We're VERY overprotective. I can't emphasize that enough. If we think that another guys is flirting with you or trying to hit on you, don't be surprised if we step in and even act irrationally. Like a mother wolf over her pups, we don't let anyone else touch you. (Not like that, but in terms of another guy trying to steal you away, stuff like that)

10. Weirdly enough, some guys need a little kissing and cuddling to keep a relationship going. I know that sometimes you girls step outside of your comfort zone, but wouldn't it be worth it to keep the one you love with you?
